I have been in the construction industry for some 23 years, starting in landscaping and groundworks before moving into more civil engineering works. I have worked abroad, firstly in Hong Kong working on the construction of the new airport on the island of Chek Lap Kok, then spending a year working in Bermuda on commercial and domestic developments.

On returning to the UK in 1999, I set up a landscaping and groundworks company called Glenscape, focusing on all areas of hard landscaping, including constructing swimming pools, pool houses, and pergolas.

As time progressed our focus was shifting to more construction and carpentry projects – reflecting my own interest in joinery and having undertaken some successful house developments. In 2011, I decided that the company branding should be changed to suit our new direction and so Greenoak was born.

Greenoak has since grown into a company known for its quality of work and attention to detail from conception to completion. Our ability to cover all aspects of a construction project gives our customers a one-stop contact point for all elements of the build. We have vast experience in extension, renovation, structural and listed building works, and have worked on some fabulous projects.

Our 3,600sq foot joinery workshop means that we can design, create and finish any joinery element to the specific site requirements – from windows, to internal and external doors, to custom-built storage solutions and kitchens. My aim is to build houses of beauty, functionality, and quality, that will last for generations to come. This ethos runs through every aspect of our work, and in 2017 I am looking forward to applying this to our first new-build project in Oxford. We look forward to talking to you about your own project, and helping to turn your dreams into a living, breathing creation.
